This path goes through the Chamonix Valley, taking you to Les Tines from Argentière. All along, there are wonderful views over the Valley and the Mont Blanc Massif. From Argentière, on the RN 506, near the SNCF bridge, turn right onto the Corne à Bouc path, the real start of the Petit Balcon Sud. Corne à Bouc, the real start of the Petit Balcon Sud. It develops nicely in the forest behind the chalets of Argentière, then crosses the large corridor of Lioutraz, theater of big avalanches in winter. Following the railroad track, continue on this always easy path. After the paravalanche, on the right, notice some beautiful cliffs suitable for climbing: the Plaques Bellin. You will soon overlook the typical village of La Joux, then the Chauffriaz property. Cross a zone of scree: it is necessary to walk quickly, because of possible falls of and boulders are possible.
