Hike to Col de Balme from Charamillon cable car

At the top of the Charamillon gondola, leave the intermediate station on the left, go past the bottom of the ski lift, cross the Charamillon torrent: climb to the right in a large alpine combe amid rhododendrons to reach the pass near the Sources de l'Arve.
